“Sguardi sull’Africa” extended: workshops for adults and children confirmed

Following its great success with the public, the exhibition Sguardi sull’Africa has been extended for the next two weekends.

We are also pleased to confirm the scheduled guided visits with workshops, designed separately for adults and children/teens, taking place on Sunday, May 10 and 17 at 4:30 PM.

The two experiences will run simultaneously, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the exhibition through a guided, interactive experience tailored to different age groups.

For children and teens, the workshop “Faces of Africa” will begin with observing the various masks on display, followed by creating a personal mask using cardboard, cut-outs, fabrics, feathers, and recycled materials.

For adults, the workshop “Create Your Own African Jewel… while sipping a bissap” includes a guided tour of the exhibition, followed by a creative session on Berber carpets: participants will craft paper beads by hand and turn them into unique bracelets, earrings, or rings. The experience will be accompanied by a traditional Senegalese drink made with hibiscus flowers, ginger, and fruit.
